Soha-Kunal to tie the knot, later this year!
Now that Saif Ali Khan and his ladylove Kareena Kapoor have postponed their wedding to 2013 (according to rumors), it is heard that Saif’s younger sis Soha Ali Khan is planning for a 2012 wedding.
If buzz is to be believed, Soha might enter matrimonial bliss with her longtime beau Kunal Khemu, in November. Both Kunal and Soha’s families have approved the match and are keen on taking things forward.
Post Tiger Pataudi’s death (Saif’s father Mansoor Ali Khan), it’s Saif who takes after him and will take up the responsibilities of his sisters wedding.
If the news is true, we will get to witness two back-to-back weddings, very soon.
Check out Farhan Akhtar as Milkha Singh
Farhan Akhtar has done it. Managed to metamorphose into Milkha Singh for the film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, that is. And the resemblance is uncanny.
But Akhtar’s preparation for the role was not limited to just looking the part. He studied pictures and videos of the world famous athlete to get the body language right. He even met Singh’s trainer Havaldar Gurdev Singh to take notes on how he trained the Flying Sikh.
Directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is Farhan’s first biopic. An insider reveals, “He was quite nervous because Milkha is a legendary sportsman. He had to imbibe everything, from his look to his body language. Over the past year-and-a-half, Farhan has been training rigorously for the role.”
Since Akhtar has a high metabolism rate and tends to lose weight quickly, he had to workout every single day to maintain the physique he has built for the film. In fact, when the crew was shooting in the town of Firozpur in Punjab, a gym was kept open 24×7 so he could use it whenever the time permitted.
Interestingly, the gym owner’s mother — who is a huge fan of the athlete — was astounded by Akhtar’s resemblance to Milkha. Says Mehra, “Farhan has transformed himself. When you see him, you can only see Milkha Singh.”
Akshay-Sonakshi unveil first Look of ROWDY RATHORE
The first look launch of the Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha starrer ROWDY RATHORE was unveiled yesterday at BDD Chawl grounds in Worli. Directed by Prabhu Deva and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and UTV Motion Pictures, ROWDY RATHORE is slated for a June 1 release.
Sonakshi tweeted on the social networking site before the event, ''Time to get ROWDY!! Officially launching the trailer of rowdy rathore tonight with Akshay Kumar. 6pm, jamboree maidan...''

Rajkumar Hirani Yet To Lock 'Munna Bhai Chale America's Script
Vidhu Vinod Chopra has completed working thirty years in the industry and to mark his three decades in Bollywood, the filmmaker has organized one of a kind retrospective of his films.
Recently, he screened his blockbuster hit Munna Bhai M.B.B.S at the fest. The makers of the film here announced that Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi will always be a part of every edition of the film, putting all media speculations about the film's cast to rest.
At the do, director Rajkumar Hirani stated, "Sanjay is Munna Bhai. I can't imagine anyone else in the role. Sanju and Arshad will always be Munna and Circuit. He perfectly fits the bill with his huge frame and innocent face."
On being quizzed, as to why the third edition of the film Munna Bhai Chale America hasn't hit the floors yet, Hirani said, "The cause of the delay is that we are still working on the script. It shouldn't look like we are trying to cash on the franchise, it should be better than the previous films. So till the time script is not perfect, we'll not start but hundred percent we will make the film."
Munna Bhai M.B.B.S (2003) was declared an instant hit and the cult comedy also garnered many an awards at various award nights.
Amitabh Bachchan Agrees For A Cameo In 'Zanjeer' Remake
A few days back, we had reported that writer duo Salim-Javed were not too pleased with the plans to remake the 1973 blockbuster Zanjeer as they felt it amounted to creative infringement. However, it seems that Amitabh Bachchan, who played the protagonist Vijay Khanna in the original film, has no such objections to a remake.
Sources claim that director Apoorva Lakhia, who is working on the remake of revenge drama Zanjeer, has managed to rope in the Big B to appear in a cameo in the remake! When asked to elaborate, Lakhia was quoted to have said, "Right now, its too early to talk about the extent of Mr. Bachchan's participation in the remake. But yes, I cant dream of remaking Zanjeer without the Bachchan family's participation. The project has their support and blessing."
The remake is supposed to star South star Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan Teja as protagonist Vijay whereas Priyanka Chopra will reportedly play the female lead, which was played by Jaya Bachchan in the original film.
Sonakshi to romance Akshay in 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbai 2'
Earlier, Kareena Kapoor and Kangana Ranuat were approached for this role. This will be Sonakshi’s third consecutive film with Akshay Kumar. She is doing Shirish Kunder’s ‘Joker’ and Prabhudeva’s ‘Rowdy Rathore’ with Akshay.
Apart from Akshay and Sonakshi, ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai 2’ will have Imran Khan in the lead. Produced by Ekta Kapoor, the film will be directed by Milan Luthria of ‘The Dirty Picture’ fame.
Akshay will play Shoaib, an underworld don Dawood Ibrahim in the movie. Ekta has not repeated anyone from the original. ‘OUATIM’ starring Ajay Devgn, Kangana Ranaut, Emraan Hashmi, Prachi Desai was a blockbuster.

Sunny Leone won’t quit porn just yet
Her first look in the much hyped Jism 2 was released by the film’s publicists this weekend and the film is slated to go on the floors on April 1. Contrary to the mood that the film’s PR machinery has generated, Sunny underplays any expectation that fans may have about the film being so scandalous as to send the censors in a tizzy. “It seems the whole world is looking for something outrageous in Jism 2 . I am not sure if the film can be termed as bold. As far as ‘bold’ is concerned, Jism 2 doesn’t have anything that the Indian audience have not already seen in Bollywood. The film will not cross any boundaries. There are no sudden surprises in terms of bold depictions. But then, the definition of bold differs from person to person,” she says.
“I play a character that is romantic as well as passionate. Jism 2 is sexy but everything is beautifully done. The story is about the journey of a woman whom the audience will love and hate at the same time,” she adds.
