Sonakshi to romance Akshay in 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbai 2'

After debuting with a cop’s wife in ‘Dabangg’, now Sonakshi Sinha is all set to romance a gangster in ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai 2’. Buzz is that Sonakshi is going to romance Akshay Kumar in the sequel to ‘OUATIM ’.  "Its official! @sonakshisinha is part of one of the films I'm looking forward to watching the most. ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAI..AGAIN," said Sonakshi Sinha's brother, Luv on Twitter.
 Earlier, Kareena Kapoor and Kangana Ranuat were approached for this role. This will be Sonakshi’s third consecutive film with Akshay Kumar. She is doing Shirish Kunder’s ‘Joker’ and Prabhudeva’s ‘Rowdy Rathore’ with Akshay.
 Apart from Akshay and Sonakshi, ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai 2’ will have Imran Khan in the lead. Produced by Ekta Kapoor, the film will be directed by Milan Luthria of ‘The Dirty Picture’ fame.
 Akshay will play Shoaib, an underworld don Dawood Ibrahim in the movie. Ekta has not repeated anyone from the original. ‘OUATIM’ starring Ajay Devgn, Kangana Ranaut, Emraan Hashmi, Prachi Desai was a blockbuster.
