Arjun Rampal To Play Sher Khan In 'Zanjeer' Remake

Initially, it was reported that Sanjay Dutt has been approached to play the character of Sher Khan, played by Pran, in the Zanjeer remake by Apoorva Lakhia. This was followed by news that Sonu Sood and not Dutt has been finalised for the role. However, the plot seems to thicken again! Sources now claim that RA.One baddie Arjun Rampal has been roped in to play the character of the Pathan gangster!
 Confirming the news, Rampal was quoted to have said, "It's a Zanjeer based in modern times so my look doesn't necessarily have to be exactly like Pran saab in the original. Apoorva and I have discussed a few ideas on my get-up and will shortly zero down on the final look." Rampal also added that he has seen Zanjeer thrice so far and will be seeing it again before starting to shoot for the remake.
 Directed by Apoorva Lakhia of Shootout At Lokhandwala fame, the Zanjeer remake will have Ram Charan Teja playing the role of protagonist Vijay Khanna whereas Priyanka Chopra will play the role originally essayed by Jaya Bachchan and Singham baddie Prakash Raj will play the antagonist Teja.

Sajid Khan admits love for Jacqueline Fernandez

Film maker Sajid Khan has been glowing with happiness, ever since his latest successful release of "Housefull 2". Sajid Khan has always remained silent over his personal life and about his alleged love life with Jacqueline Fernandez. But now it seems like the ‘Housefull 2" director wants to come out in open and wants to confess his love.
 Sajid recently spilled the beans and confessed in public that he met the love of his life during the shoot of the movie ‘Housefull 2’. The film maker told the press that the shooting of the movie was special for him as he met the love of his life during the making of the Bollywood comedy.
 Close friends of Sajid and Jacqueline say that the two have not spoken about their relationship in public as the film maker thinks that the ‘ Murder 2′ actress is too young and the revelation would hamper her career in Bollywood. For a long time, the Indian film industry has been abuzz about the relationship of Sajid and Jacqueline.
 Friends of the couple have also said that Sajid does not want to come out in open about the relationship as he wants Jackie (as she is fondly know) to do more films, work with big banners and taste success.
 Both are looking seriously towards the future and are considering the option of settling down together. If the current developments are taken into consideration, then it might not be too long before we see them tying the knot.
 Earlier reports claimed that the actress had left many film projects as Sajid had not liked the roles and had also prevented her from skin show.

Pain haunts Amitabh Bachchan!

Just recently Amitabh Bachchan recovered from an abdominal surgery, and once again the pains retuns to haunt him. Since a couple of days, the mega star has been facing terrible pain.
 The actor will have to undergo a CT scan in order to identify the cause for the pain. He will visit Seven Hill Hospital, today, Tuesday.
 Amitabh Bachchan underwent an abdominal surgery 87two months ago.
 “Last night…I rose from my desk to get to bed, but excruciating pain, stopped me in my tracks and I found it difficult to walk, to stand, to sit, to lie down. Quite horrendous!” he said in a late night blog entry.
 Big B did not have any pain post operation. However, he experienced sever aches after two months.
 “I have no answer. But tomorrow (Tuesday), there should be one as I prepare for a CT-Scan after devouring a large bottle or bottles of that yellow fluid…” Amitabh Bachchan said.

Madhuri Dixit Nene is back with a bang. The actress has finally signed on the dotted line for Vishal Bharadwaj’s Ishiqya sequel Dedh Ishqiya. The film will be directed by Abhishek Choubey, who also directed the first film. Vidya Balan is not a part of the film, the other cast members - Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi have been retained and Kangna Ranaut is the new addition to the cast.
 As per reports, Madhuri will play a grey character, a Begum whose style of ishq is very nawabi. She is paired opposite Naseeruddin Shah. Her Manager confirmed the same to a daily and said, “Yes, Madhuri is doing the film. She is very charged about the role as its unusual and nothing like the work she’s done before. Vishal was keen that she does this film. Though talks have been going on for the last couple of months, we had the final narration last Saturday and Madhuri finally said yes. Money and dates have also been sorted.”
 The film is expected to go on floors in May.

Shahrukh to play hockey icon Dhyan Chand

Biopic inspires filmmaker to make film based on real character. After the super success of ‘Paan Singh Tomar’ ‘The Dirty Picture’ and the much awaited Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ based on real life Indian athletes, another film on hockey icon Dhayan Chand is in the process of making. Shahrukh Khan who has acted remarkable well in ‘Chak De India’ as an Indian hockey girls’ coach has been approached to play the legendry hockey player.
 Talking to a daily SRK confirmed, “Yes, I have been approached for a movie based on the legendary Dhyan Chandji’s life. Hockey, as a sport, isn’t new to me since I have been an athlete throughout my school and college life, and I’ve especially played a lot of hockey.”
 SRK justifies the role not just he has done well in ‘Chak De India’ as a hockey coach but due to his sports background. During his school days at St Columba’s, Delhi, SRK captained the football and hockey teams besides playing cricket at the zonal and national levels.
 Dhyan Chand was the hockey captain of team India and was phenomenal in achieving several Olympic gold medals for the country.
 This biopic will be like be a tribute to Indian hockey legend who brought pride to India.

Shahrukh to romance Kajol again

If the latest grapevine is to be believed then Bollywood’s most sought after couple Shahrukh Khan and Kajol will ablaze the silver screen again. It is heard that Karan Johar who has reinvented Shahrukh and Kajol on-screen chemistry again and again will cast the duo in his next project.
 Since Shahrukh Khan is busy with two back to back project Yashraj Films’ next and then has Farah Khan’s ‘Happy New Year’ in August this year, Karan will most probably star in his film next year. Moreover, Kajol has not signed any film after the birth of his son Yug and this might be her comeback film post baby birth.
 Kjo is working on the script. Kajol and Shahrukh who charmed the audience with their chemistry in record breaking film ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, 'Kabhie Khushi Kabhi Gham’ was last seen in Dharma Productions ‘My Name Is Khan’.
