First Look Of Sunny Deol's 'Bhaiyyaji Superhitt' Unveiled!
After playing a Sikh character in his last release Yamla Pagla Deewana, Bollywood strongman Sunny Deol will be next seen playing a UP based gangster in his forthcoming flick Bhaiyyaji Superhitt and the first look of the movie was released recently, creating a wave among fans of the Ghayal star.
Sunny will be playing a double role for the very first time in his career spanning more than two decades and the actor seemed quite excited about the project. The Jat actor was quoted to have said, "I play a UP based don and that is why he is called Bhaiyyaji. There were several sketches that the creative team came up with, but this one fit the bill perfectly."
The first look shows Sunny Deol sporting a rather regal moustache, kohl-lined eyes and a tilak on his forehead, which complements the rustic look that his character is supposed to have. Apart from Sunny Deol, the film will also star Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor and Prakash Raj whereas Deol's Gadar female lead Ameesha Patel will be once again paired opposite the actor with the dhaai kilo ka haath…(movietalkies)
Ayushmann Khurrana turns singer for VICKY DONOR
VJ Ayushmann Khurrana, who will be soon making his acting debut in John Abraham's production venture VICKY DONOR, will be simultaneously making musical debut in the film.
During his earlier college day, the VJ turned actor wrote a Punjabi song titled 'Paani'. Talking about how things fell into place Ayushmann says, "One day I was sitting with Shoojitda (Shoojit Sircar) discussing which music director to rope in among other things. I happened to be carrying my guitar that day and mentioned the song I had written 8 years ago. He asked me to play it and ended up loving it. So we used it in the film. I had written the song way back in 2003 while I was in college, along with my friend Rochak Kohli. It's a love ballad and since we haven't really had a Punjabi love ballad in Bollywood for a long time, it's going to be interesting," adds Ayushmann. (glamsham)
With Abhay Deol flaunting old school Babu whiskers in ‘Shanghai’, is it the new success mantra?
Bollywood’s affair with tiny bristles over the upper lip is an old one. Brave revolutionaries to roadside Romeos have all flaunted various versions of the great Indian mooch. In ‘Shanghai’ Abhay Deol has his very own. A prominent yet not overwhelming, neatly combed moustache. He plays a diligent IAS officer in the film who has been posted in a state outside his native where he is working on a serious case.
His character is that of a Tamilian Brahmin, a caste that has always been portrayed as ostensibly religious and conservative. So while lessons to master the Tamilian accent did help, a neat set of upper lip hair helped him convey all that and more. You see him here looking positively grim as he discusses an important case with a colleague played by Farooq Sheikh.
Pritam in trouble for 'Pyaar ki Pungi
The music of the song is very similar to ‘Soosan khanoom’ by Iranian band called Barobax. According to the band, the beats and music of the ‘Agent Vinod’ song is very similar to the Irani song.
The legal notice served states that the band came across the promotions of the movie 'Agent Vinod' on satellite television in Iran and on listening to the song, they realised that the initial portion of the song is lifted without any change from the title song of their album. They have also demanded that the makers of ‘Agent Vinod’ refrain from using the song in the film and they will initiate proceedings to seek a restraining order if they fail to do so.
