Kajol to do a Cameo in Karan Johar's 'Student of the Year'

Karan Johar and Kajol have made it big in Bollywood with their many landmark films together. Karan also considers Kajol his lucky mascot. That could be the reason why Karan wanted Kajol to do a Cameo in Dharma production's upcoming film, 'Student of the Year'.
Manish Malhotra will be styling Kajol in this movie. Really looking forward for this one.

Deepika-Emraan in Dharma-Balaji film…

Deepika Padukone is on a roll. After Bebo rejecting Ekta Kapoor – Karan Johar’s film, it is heard that Deepy has taken Kareena’s place and will be seen opposite Emraan Hashmi.
It is heard that Kareena said no to Ekta-Karan because she wasn’t comfortable working with Hashmi. However, Deepika, who is known to explore the Bollywood industry, has no problem working with Emraan.
A source close to the Balaji- Dharma project revealed, “It is strange Kareena was not happy with her role. She also told Ekta and Karan that her wedding would be around the same time they wanted to start shooting for the film. It’s a heroine-oriented film and Emraan is not the mainstay of the project. Deepika was so excited about her role that she agreed to it a couple of days before boarding the flight to Turkey, where she is currently shooting for Race 2.”
If sources are to be believed, it is said that after giving ample thought, Kareena decided to return to the project.  “It would have been unethical to show Deepika the door then. Moreover, they were unanimous in their opinion that Deepika could pull off the role as efficiently as Kareena would have,” added the source.
“The film is an urban take on love – it is quirky, edgy and dramatic,” says an insider.
The film will go on floors by end of this year.

Actress Neha Dhupia is all set to share screen space with Emraan Hashmi in Karan Johar’s next home production to be directed by Rensil D’Silva . “Yes, I have been signed for this film. I can’t talk much about it. There are other two films of mine that are coming out- Maximum and Rush,” said Dhupia.
The film will also star Sanjay Dutt, Kangana Ranuat, Randeep Hooda and is likely to roll out later this year.
Earlier, Karan had said, “The film has a strong ensemble cast, like Emraan, lots of people are there in it like Kangana, Randeep Hooda and host of young brilliant actors. We will announce the film with title and cast very soon. It is about individual paths, there is no predominant love story. It is too early to talk about it.”

‘Rockstar’ actress is on the roll. The actress debuted with Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Rockstar’ opposite Ranbir Kapoor and since then Nargis has been hitting the headlines not for her acting and films but for her close proximity with different actors. First she was rumored of having an affair with Ranbir Kapoor and then she was said to be dating Shahid Kapur. The actress even accompanied Shahid to Goa to plan his birthday bash. The two had a great time together. The latest in the row to get associated with the actress is business tycoon Ness Wadia.
  At Karan Johar’s grand birthday bash, Nargis was spotted getting cozy with Ness. Nargis who had least knowledge of Ness Wadia’s identity was seen hugging and kissing the businessman and co-owner of Kings Punjab X1. They were very comfortable in each other’s company. Their coochie moochie raised many eyebrows. Ness was in full mood, he was enjoying one after another drink. Ness and Nargis stuck to one another throughout the party. Ness Wadia was totally enjoying Nargis’s company.
 Ness and Nargis was also engrossed in deep conversation. After their conversation ended up, they said goodbye by hugging and kissing. Ness even came to drop Nargis to her car outside the hotel.
 Nargis’s spokesman however denied the news, "Nargis and Ness don't even know each other".
 Ness and Preity Zinta was a couple for many years till they broke up two years back. They moved on never to reunite in future.

Emraan and Kareena in Karan’s next??

Karan Johar’s next flick might see Kareena Kapoor opposite Emraan Harshmi. However, all details about the film are kept under wraps. With Emraan giving back-to-back hits, Bebo is eagerly looking forward to working with him.
It is heard that, Hashmi has already signed his first flick with the Karan camp and is fast becoming a favorite of many producers, including Karan johar.
If buzz is to be believed, Kareena is reworking on her dates just so that she gets to work with Emraan.
Says a source, “As Kareena and Emraan are a very fresh pair, she’s very keen on working with him. She is excited to be part of the Karan film.”

KJO added, ''Dharma has produced many films with first-time directors (Soham Shah, Nikhil Advani, Ayan Mukherjee, Puneet Malhotra, Rensil D'Silva, and Karan Malhotra). This is the first time we've got an established director, someone who is on top of his game.''
Karan not only admires Rohit as a person but also praises his works, ''I have enjoyed all his films and now he's making one for us. At this stage, I am more excited about producing films, rather than directing  a statement I never thought I would make.''
Rohit shetty too shared his thoughts on teaming up with Karan Johar, ''I respected his dad Yash Johar a lot, although I've never worked with him, I've heard great things about him from my mom and my seniors. When I entered Dharma office for the first time, I was entering Yashji's office, and I wished he was around to see that. I respect Karan for his achievements as a director as well as a producer. For me, making a film for Dharma is not just a project but a big responsibility.''
Rohit further continued, ''People are saying it's going to be one of the biggest collaborations ever but for me it's a film that I want to work harder for. I want to make a good and highly successful commercial film for Dharma. Not to prove anything or to anyone but to pay tribute to a man who is not with us. A man the Hindi film industry respects and loves.''

Boman Irani faints on the sets of STUDENT OF THE YEAR

Actor Boman Irani fainted while shooting for the upcoming film STUDENT OF THE YEAR in Bangkok.
Boman, who is doing a cameo in the movie, fainted on the sets due to dehydration. The Bangkok heat seemed to be unbearable for the actor who had to rest for some time in his van to catch his breath.Boman confirmed about this incident on twitter "Yes it's true. I did pass out on the sets of SOTY. No big deal. Karan & @kayoze and the team were too caring. Thanks for the concern! It was like hell in a microwave!!!!!"
Directed by Karan Johar and produced under Dharma Productions and Red Chillies Entertainment, Boman will be sharing screen space for the first time with his son Kayoze in the film.
