Asha Bhonsle selected as a judge for ‘Indian Idol 6′

It was already a known fact that the season 6 of “Indian Idol” would be having a panel of four judges instead of three. Many names were being speculated as to who would be the fourth judge apart from Sunidhi Chauhan, Anu Malik and Salim Merchant.
Many of the personalities were approached for the job, A.R Rehman being one of them. However, the name selected to do the honors is none other than the very versatile singer, Asha Bhosle. The veteran singer has a past experience of being a celebrity judge to many a reality shows.
This is her first experience to act as a full-fledged judge for a reality show. However, she will skip the audition rounds, joining the three judges in the gala rounds. Her prior show as a judge was to be ‘Sur Kshetra’ along with Himesh Reshammiya, Abida Praveen and Atif Aslam, but somehow the show got delayed.
