‘Dostana 2′ set to roll in middle of year
Director Tarun Mansukhani has reportedly cracked the plot and finally “Dostana 2″ is set to roll in the middle of the year. The film is said to be far more naughty and wicked and John Abraham says he can’t wait to get cosy with Abhishek Bachchan on the screen again.
“Yes, Tarun Mansukhani has finally got the plot in place. And we’re all set. I maintain Abhishek is my best screen-jodi. And I can’t wait to get cosy with him on screen,” said John, who featured in the part one with Abhishek in “Dostana”.
The sequel to the successful 2008 comedy would be set in two continents and would play on the gay-versus-straight theme far more aggressively.
Not willing to divulge too many details, John let out, “‘Dostana 2′ would be set in London and Punjab.”
The sequel won’t go anywhere near beaches and bikini babes either.
“The Californian seaside setting of ‘Dostana’ took care of all the water-related activities. ‘Dostana 2′ would unfold on terra firma. No beaches and, sorry, no John in dangerously low-waist swimming trunks. The cracks, if any, would show elsewhere,” said a source.
The idea this time is to turn the tables on the principal actors. John would appear fully clothed and Abhishek, we hear, just might be going bare-chested for the sequel.
“The sequel is going to be far more naughty and wicked. There’ll be lots of sexual jokes, though Karan Johar and Tarun Mansukhani would make sure that the gay community would not get offended. Innocuous fun would still be the key,” said another source.

John Abraham to marry Priya Runchal, this year.
“Priya and I have decided to get married this year,” John Abraham confirms in an interview with TOI.
The actor is very sure about his wedding this year. Hoever, he is not sure of the date. Who know’s, it could be next week also. The actor himself doesn’t know.
“I know it (marriage) will be this year, but I don’t know when. It could be in a few months or a few weeks. I am a very impulsive guy. So I might decide to get married next week!” John added.
The marriage will be a registered one, without any religious ceremony.
Tezz Movie Review
Revolving around the issues of illegal immigrants, the movie has Aakash Rana (Ajay Devgn), an engineer staying with his UK citizen wife Nikita (Kangana Ranaut) in London before his illegal status gets discovered and the courts order him deported, thus crushing his dreams of an ideal life.
Four years later, Rana returns with vengeance on his mind and teams up with his former employees Adil Khan (Zayed Khan) and Megha (Sameera Reddy) to wreak some havoc. What follows is a bomb threat on a train and a tensed Railway Control officer Sanjay Raina (Boman Irani) and Anti-Terrorism officer Arjun Khanna (Anil Kapoor) trying every trick in the book to avert the disaster and to apprehend the culprits. Thrown in the mix are police officer Shivan Nair (Mohanlal) and his team of cops, who are escorting a prisoner on the same ill-fated train and the stage is set for thrills galore and an exciting cat and mouse chase.
Ajay Devgn once again proves that he is one of the best actors in the industry and his intensity is unmatched in scenes that require emotions. Devgn lets his eyes do the talking and does not fail at any juncture as the wronged hero who is pushed into a desperate situation. Anil Kapoor, who plays Khanna, also delivers his part and proves that he can carry off a lead role despite his 50 plus years. Boman Irani is excellent as always, bringing out the anguish of a father quite effectively though Mohanlal, who is without doubt one of the most talented actors, seems miscast as the London police officer attached to a tactical unit because of his chubby frame and a thick South Indian accent.
On the flip side, though the chase sequences are capable enough to keep viewers on the edge of their seats, the effect of the thrilling parts in the movie is somewhat marred by songs that intrude in the middle of the excitement. A scene where Rana and Khan are being chased by cops suddenly gets chopped to make way for item number Laila, which is a sure dampener. However, the slow romantic number Tere Bina is quite hummable. Moreover, the director's habit of inserting flashbacks at the time when the movie should speed ahead also tends to affect the interest level of the viewer. Also, the director fails to explain why the protagonist's former employees Adil and Megha risk life and limb for Rana-it would have sure helped if the relationship between the trio was explored to justify their dedication. Some elements of the movie (like the bomb, which could get triggered if the speed of the vehicle decreases and the scene where a garbage can with a hollow bottom is used for whisking away the money from under the noses of the cops) seem to be inspired from the Hollywood flick Speed.
Nevertheless, Priyadarshan gets full marks for the overall racy pace of the movie and the nail-biting chase sequences. Moreover, the cinematography is also worth mentioning and the great locales of the United Kingdom, from the cobbled streets to the green countryside have also been captured well.
Like mentioned earlier, apart from the few scenes, where the pace of the movie drops, the film overall lives up to its title Tezz.

Aspiring Bollywood Actress Beheaded by Actors She Met On the Sets of ‘Heroine’
Meenakshi Thapa, 26, was kidnapped and beheaded last month by Amit Jaiswal and his lover Preeti Surin in an attempt to receive a ransom payment.
She had met the pair on the set of Madhur Bhandarkar’s yet-to-be-released film Heroine, where she had a bit-part role.
Thapa’s mother is believed to have paid 60,000 Rupees for her release, but never saw her daughter again.
Detective have said they believe she was strangled in a hotel and her body was hacked into pieces and thrown in a water tank.
Then in a final act of callous depravity her head was thrown from a moving bus on its way to Mumbai.
Mumbai crime branch policemen recovered the body from Surin’s house in Allahabad on Wednesday.
Jaiswal and Surin confessed the crime to the Mumbai Police after their arrest on Saturday night and said they were taken in by Thapa’s pretentious stories about her ‘affluent family’.
‘The accused believed that Thapa was from a wealthy family because her lifestyle, despite not landing a big film role, hid the fact that she actually came from a middle-class background.
They plotted to kidnap her for a ransom of 1,500,000 Rupees and kill her after the payment was made,’ a police officer said.
Thapa was a struggling actress who earlier played a minor role in last year’s horror film 404 and she appeared in some TV commercials.
Her Nepalese-origin family has settled in Dehradun some years ago. Like her, Jaiswal and Surin were struggling for a toehold in the film industry.
The duo lured Thapa to travel with them to Gorakhpur. There they held her hostage and called up her family demanding the ransom.
The police said they told Thapa’s mother that they would drug her daughter and make a pornographic film if she didn’t deposit the money in the victim’s account. They also took her debit card.
The mother deposited 60,000 Rupees in Thapa’s account, but that didn’t save her daughter.
A police officer said: ‘They returned to Mumbai from Allahabad by bus. On their way they threw out the bag.’
In the meantime, Thapa’s brother registered a complaint with the police in Dehradun on March 17 about his missing sister. The Mumbai Police were promptly alerted.
In Mumbai, the killers thought they had done away with all evidence but for one slip. Jaiswal still had Thapa’s mobile phone SIM cards.
These led the police to the duo hiding in suburban Bandra.
‘They confessed to the crime, but couldn’t tell us exactly where they threw away the head during their journey from Allahabad to Mumbai,’ a police officer said. Jaiswal, 36, and Surin, who is 10 years younger, were originally from Allahabad.
They eloped after Jaiswal’s wife discovered their affair and landed in Mumbai to try their luck in films.
Instead they scripted one hell of a murder that could even spook Bollywood scriptwriters.
