Late actor's daughter claims to be Shahid's wife

Female stalker who happens to be a daughter of an iconic actor followed charming Shahid Kapoor up at his 13th floor apartment in the wee hours of the morning. She wants to see Shahid. The girl is in her early 30’s and is known to be approaching Shahid since quite some time. She has been following him at odd hours and even claiming to be his wife.
The actor is dealing the issue very cautiously as she is the daughter of an yesteryears iconic actor.
According to an eye-witnesses, “the woman, who lives in the adjacent high-rise, recently scaled the boundary wall, managed to dodge the security and ran up to Shahid`s apartment on the 13th floor of Raheja Classique and began pounding on his door. As soon as the actor realised who she was, he called up the security and four of them rushed upstairs and escorted the woman away.”
“Shahid, who is aware of her background, has been sensitive enough to ignore these incidents so far, but Wednesday night was a little serious and he has decided to highlight this as a security breach with his society," Shahid`s friend told media.
"She has had a troubled life and could never quite recover from the twin blows of her father`s death and professional disappointments," reported a daily.
"In fact, a few years ago, she made her debut in a B-grade flick, where her role was drastically reduced. It was a huge blow for her," the daily quoated afamily member as saying.
Shahid has not only refused to comment on the issue but also refused to divulge the identity of the woman.

Divya Bharti's tragic Biopic in the works

Bollywood never stepped down from giving a different meaning to the reality. And now, the controversial life of superstar of the yesteryear late Divya Bharti is the hot topic and new script in Hindi films inspired by real life.
The latest buzz doing in Bollywood circles is that two decades after actress Divya Bharti died under mysterious circumstances after falling from the balconey of her flat, director Vikram Sandhu (who made Shaheed Bhagat Singh) is gearing up to make a biopic on the actress' life.
Divya Bharti entered the tinsel town with South Indian flick ‘Bobbili Raja’ in 1990 and then scored big hits. Bollywood invited her with ‘Dil Hi To Hai’ co-starring Jackie Shroff in 1992 and saw her sizzle in 14 more flicks.
Divya Bharti became the heartthrob millions and was poised to become the queen of Bollywood before the cruel destiny took her away. She married producer Sajid Nadiadwala. On April 5, 1993 she fell to her death from the balcony of her flat. There was a police enquiry around her sudden death which remains a mystery till date.
It is known that Sandhu has completed the script and currently, the search is on to find the right face to fit the role of Divya Bharati. Buzz is that this would be hitting the floors in July 2012.

Mahie’s account hacked

The actress is furious with the online hacker who is sending random e-mails from her account and also has access to all her personal photographs and film scripts
Mahie Gill is furious and the cause of her ire is the hacker who has played havoc with her e-mail ID. Her account has been sending spam and her outbox is full of messages to random people she has not e-mailed to.
What is worrying her is that confidential information that included film scripts, her shooting schedules, personal photographs and details might be in the in-box of several people as the hacker had been busy sending e -mails from her account.
And what compounded the problem is that she realised it only a day later after the problem ensued. Her e-mail account was hacked on March 29 but as she was shooting for the sequel of a Salman Khan starrer that day, she did not access her mail.
The actress realised it only the next day when she logged in. Though she immediately changed her password, by then the hacker had done extensive damage forcing her to lodge a complaint.
Says Mahie, “I have filed a complaint with the Mumbai cyber crime department. I have a lot of important information in my mail. I hope that it does not get misused.”
Though she is currently in Jallandhar due to personal commitments, she is following the case closely. She is currently feeling handicapped without an account as she has been told to create a new one.
“My biggest worry is that the scripts and my personal stuff might fall into wrong hands, ” she rues

Ekta Kapoor gets John-Bips together!

It’s been almost a year that Bipasha Basu and John Abraham have parted ways. Well, thorough professionals that they are, the ex couple are now back together in Ekta Kapoor’s film.

If sources are to be believed, “Ekta Kapoor has managed a coup for her next production Shootout at Wadala, which is currently on floors. John is her leading man, while Kangana Ranaut stars opposite him. Bipasha is the latest addition to the film, and she will have one scene in the film which leads to an item song.”
Ekta Kapoor confirms the news too. “Aap ko pata chal gaya!” However, she refused to comment any further. The source adds, “Whether John and Bips will have any scenes together is still being kept a secret, but the fact that they are ready to be in the same movie is a new beginning.”
 The couple split in 2010.

Salman Khan On The Sets Of 'Dabangg 2'

‘Housefull 2′: Movie Review (2012)

Movie Review (2012)
 Film: “Housefull 2″
Starring: Akshay Kumar, John Abraham, Riteish Deshmukh, Shreyas Talpade, Randhir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Asin, Jacquelin Fernandez, Zarine Khan, Mithun Chakraborty, Boman Irani, Johny Lever
Directed by: Sajid Khan
Rating:

Gags galore. Laughs? Well, not as many as you’d expect in a 180-minute marathon mirth machine. Somehow, the jokes get choked in the comic ritual of repetition. Once you figure out who’s who and who’s ha-ha in the farce fest, the attempts to cram as many characters into every frame as humanly possible begins to take its toll on the comic equilibrium of this tale of intermittent titters and some genuine laughs.
So what’s “Housefull 2″ about? Wrong question. Beyond a point, it’s only about keeping the embers of satire alive by hook or by over-cook. Somewhere down line the witticism wears thin. But there are comic actors of terrific aptitude holding aloft the thinner segments in the farcical fabric.
Just look at the lineup. Real-life brothers Randhir and Rishi Kapoor on screen for the first time together. Wow wee! Each time they appear on screen the theme from Raj Kapoor’s cinema plays slyly in the background. As brothers turned enemies sharing a wall of history in ‘Great’ Britain, the Kapoor brothers take much longer to thaw and embrace one another than the other actors.
The plot is propelled forward by pairs of hostile actors who come together by the mid-point…Asin and Jacqueline playing blathering bimbos who also happen to be warring cousins, seem to find no pleasure in their characters beyond swooning in their screen-lover’s arms once too often. Akshay Kumar and John Abraham (the former getting the comic timing right, the latter trying so hard the effort shows) hate one another because at their college dance John caught his girlfriend with Akshay in the closet.
Once out of the closet the fun quotient never really stops for Akshay. He is in his rogue’s element running helter-skelter between dacoit-turned-English aristocrat Mithun Chakraborty and his Man Friday Johnny Lever.
The male actors get the sur of the steep satire right. But the ladies, they’re a little lost in the melee of mirth. Asin who has the meatiest role among the girls is listless. Making 25 faces in every frame doesn’t constitute money’s worth acting.
Sajid Khan shoots the ladies in exotic locations. The camera is never voyeuristic. The mood is often slapstick. But the gags never cross the limits of vulgarity. The verbal exchanges are largely free of double meanings. Yup, this comedy could be watched by the family without the dialogue writing band-bajaoing Papa and Mama’s censorial rules.
It is interesting to see how Sajid Khan employs old traditional Bollywood conventions, like a flashback where two friends swear to give away one another’s kids in marriage when the time is right, and an incredibly lengthy and pointless fight sequence where Dara Singh’s son Vindoo jumps out of a wheelchair and gets beaten up by our bunch of belligerent heroes.
Such archaic formula-baazi is synthesized with more contemporary concepts of cinematic entertainment. All in all you come away from “Housefull 2″ with a feeling that the vast cast seems to get the mood of riotous fun. They seem to have such fun that the audience can’t help getting infected by their non-stop party mood.
“Housefull 2″ takes the comic vein further than the first Housefull film. Sajid’s plot, characters and situations keep the chuckle fest vibrant and alive till the end. This is at times a wicked and funny farce with sparkling comic talent displayed by every male actor.
