Naseeruddin Shah can’t wait to work with Madhuri.

Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah says he cannot wait to work with Bollywood actor Madhuri Dixit in Abhishek Chaubey’s Dedh Ishqiya. “Madhuri and I have worked together before. I am her fan. I don’t know how many films of mine she has seen but I always thought she is a good actress and I am waiting to work with her again,” he said.
Chaubey is all set to make the sequel of his 2010 debut film Ishqiya. Of the original cast, Naseeruddin and Arshad Warsi have been retained, while Vidya Balan has been replaced by Madhuri.

Madhuri to romance Naseeruddin

Madhuri Dixit is back with a bang.  She has bagged Vishal Bharadwaj’s ‘Dekh Ishqiya’ and according to the latest report, Madhuri will be paired opposite Naseeruddin Shah. Madhuri will play the strong character of Nawabi – begum. The film also stars Arshad Warsi, Kangana Ranaut in a central role.
 First time Kangana will share screen space with the dhak dhak lady. It is believed that Kangana and Madhuri will share an amazing on-screen chemistry. Anubhav Sinha of ‘ Tum Bin’ and ‘Ra. one’ fame will direct ‘Dekh Ishqiya’. The film is a sequel to blockbuster ‘Ishqiya’ that starred Vidya Balan, Arshad Warsi and Naseeruddin Shah in the lead.
 Madhuri has also signed ‘Gulab Gang’. After staying a decade in Denver, Madhuri has shifted her base to India. She has decided to concentrate in films. Her second innings in Bollywood with ‘Aaja Nachle’ in 2007 did not spell magic but Madhuri is geared up to make her third innings in Bollywood memorable and widely viewed.
 Well, Madhuri is keeping her fingers crossed!

Madhuri to play gangster in Anubhav Sinha 'Gulab Gang'

After signing Vishal Bharadwaj’s ‘Dekh Ishqiya’, Madhuri Dixit has signed her second film ‘Gulab Gang’ where she will play the female protagonist a gangster. 
 "We have signed Madhuri for 'Gulab Gang'. She would be playing the lead role of Gulab. She heads the gang of women," Sinha.
 The film will be directed by Soumik Sen. Madhuri is quite interested to act in the film. She was highly impressed with the script.
 "It was director Soumik Sen who narrated me the story and I really liked it. It was his idea of having Madhuri in the film. He met her and she was also extremely excited about it," he said.
 'Gulab Gang' is a story of a gang of women fighting against social injustice.
 "It is not a biopic. It is not based on anyone. It is in a way inspired by something that happened in UP. It is a fiction," Sinha said.
 Apart from Madhuri, the film will have six other female characters in the film."We have just finalised Madhuri. Soumik had mentioned that he wants to cast Mahie Gill, Shilpa Shukla for other roles. But I don't know if he has met them and things have been finalised or not. Also, we are looking for a female antagonist," he said. 
 Produced under Benaras Media Works banner, 'Gulab Gang' would go on floors next year on Womens Day, March 8.

Madhuri's Dedh Ishqiya with Kangna Ranaut

Madhuri Dixit Nene is back with a bang. The actress has finally signed on the dotted line for Vishal Bharadwaj’s Ishiqya sequel Dedh Ishqiya. The film will be directed by Abhishek Choubey, who also directed the first film. Vidya Balan is not a part of the film, the other cast members - Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi have been retained and Kangna Ranaut is the new addition to the cast.
 As per reports, Madhuri will play a grey character, a Begum whose style of ishq is very nawabi. She is paired opposite Naseeruddin Shah. Her Manager confirmed the same to a daily and said, “Yes, Madhuri is doing the film. She is very charged about the role as its unusual and nothing like the work she’s done before. Vishal was keen that she does this film. Though talks have been going on for the last couple of months, we had the final narration last Saturday and Madhuri finally said yes. Money and dates have also been sorted.”
 The film is expected to go on floors in May.

Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit Nene's wax statue was unveiled at the Madame Tussauds here on Wednesday. The actress is famous for her performances in 'Tezaab', 'Ram Lakhan', 'Sajan', 'Beta', 'Hum Aapke Hain Kaun', 'Dil Toh Pagal Hai' and 'Devdas'

The 44-year-old dancing diva is the latest Indian film star to join the top line up at the Madame Tussauds wax museum which also houses statues of Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Hrithik Roshan and Salman Khan.
