After teaming up with perfectionist actor Aamir Khan to deliver a blockbuster hit with revenge drama Ghajini, south director A. R. Murugadoss has now roped in none other than the Khiladi of Bollywood - Akshay Kumar for his next project.
Sources claim that Murugadoss, who is still working on his Tamil flick Thupaki starring south star Vijay, has already decided to remake the film in Hindi with Akshay Kumar playing the male lead. The movie Thupaki reportedly revolves around the journey of a young man, who comes to Mumbai from a small town and becomes an underworld don due to certain circumstances. Incidentally, Akshay Kumar will be playing an underworld kingpin in his forthcoming Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai 2.

Confirming the news, Akshay Kumar was quoted to have said, "Murugadoss is a genius! He did a fabulous job with Ghajini and I am extremely happy that we have managed to sneak in time to work together."( Courtsey: Movietalkies)
